James Ernest / the beloved son of / James & Elizabeth Gray / of Barnsley / born ---- October 1882 / died 30th January 1883 / also Marjorie / daughter of the above / born 22 February 1894 / died 3rd October 1901 / also of James Gray of Barnsley (Solicitor) / who fell asleep the 3rd day of February 1915 / aged 63 years / also of Elizabeth Gray his widow / born April 2nd 1861 died April 11th 1917 / also their son Lt George Donald Gray / 2/4th York & Lanc Regt / died of wounds received in France May 5th 1917 / aged 33 years.
