Row A 1. and 2. possibly unmarked graves. 3. In Loving Memory of Willie, beloved husband of Mary Marsden, died July 15th 1946, aged 58 years. Also Mary Marsden, died Sept. 29th 1949, aged 61. 4. In Loving Memory of Frank Dyson, died April 8th 1943, aged 77 years, Also Elizabeth Ann Dyson 1954, aged 80. 5. Unmarked grave. 6. In Loving Memory of Emma Mellor, died 3rd September, 1945, aged 81 years, Also William Mellor, died 14th Jan. 1946, aged 84 years. 7. Unmarked grave. 8. In Loving Memory of Roland/Rowland, dearly loved husband of Martha Ann Dyson who died Jan. 25th 1945. Aged 68 years. "Resting where no shadows fall. In perfect peace he awaits us all". Also the above named Martha Ann Dyson, who died March 20th 1968, Aged 91 years. 9. In Loving Memory of Clara Gaunt, of Cat Hill Hall, died Sept. 5th. 1945, aged 54. "Her life a beautiful memory, her absence a silent grief" Row B 10. In Loving Memory of a dear brother, Matthew Henry Armitage, of Kidfield House, died Feb. 26th 1947, aged 68 years. Also Ernest Wood Armitage, died Oct. 12th 1941, aged 49 years. "Thy will be done" 11. In Loving Memory of Ernest Grice, dearly beloved husband of Annie Grice, who was called to rest July 7th 1939, aged 62 years. "The Lord is my shepherd, other refuge have I none". In Loving Memory of Flossy, beloved daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Ann Dyson, died Jan. 15th 1940, aged 30 years. "At Rest". 14. Unmarked grave. 15. In Loving Memory of Stephen, the beloved husband of Mary Webb who died May 14th 1941, aged 66 years. Also the above named Mary Webb who died Jan. 7th 1958, aged 84 years. "At Rest!" Also their dear daughter, Elsie Spenceley who died May 20th 1997, aged 97 years. Also in Remembrance of her beloved husband, George, who died Nov. 24th 1996, Aged 95 years. "Dearly Loved". 16. In Loving memory of a dear father, Isaac Barnsley Haynes, died 20th November 1941, aged 67. Also a dear wife and mother, Lucy Haynes, died 28th March 1968, aged 89. "Reunited" 20. In Loving Memory of Walter Joseph, the dearly loved son of Ernest and Ada Helliwell, who was accidentally killed July 2nd 1936, aged 32 years. "Treasured Memories" 21. In Loving Memory of a dear husband, Thomas Elliott, died Nov. 6th 1966, aged 76 years. Also wife of the said, Jessie. (Nothing else legible). 22. In Loving Memory of a dear husband and father, Philip Lockwood, died May 3rd 1939, aged 70 years. Also Sarah Hannah, dear wife of the above and a beloved mother, Died April 5th 1955, aged 84 years. "Re-united – Rest in Peace". 23. Unmarked grave. 24. In Loving Memory of our dear parents, James Nother, died 26th Dec. 1941, aged 76, and Emma Frances Nother, died 25th Oct. 1953, aged 8 ? Also Alice, daughter of the above, died 1st Oct. 1981, aged 91. Also their daughter, Annie Blackburn, died 9th Oct. 1989, aged 88 years. 25. In Loving memory of Harry, the beloved husband of Harriet Clifford, died June 11th 1968, aged 68 years. Also his first wife, Elsie, died March 1942, aged 42 years. 26. In Loving Memory of our dear brother, Harry Chappell, who died Oct. 25th 1941, aged 51 years. "At Rest" Row D 27. Unmarked grave. 28. In Loving memory of Jim and Albert Beilby, sons of Fred and Alice Beilby of Lower Storrs, who died Feb. 25th 1918, aged 15 years and 5 months, and 2½ years. The elder gave up his life in trying to save the younger from drowning. Also the above Fred Beilby, who died Dec. 27th 1941, aged 62 years. "Thy will be done" Also the above Alice Ann Beilby, who died June 26th 1956, aged 78 years. 29. In Loving Memory of Alfred, beloved husband of Harriet Kilner, who died April 17th 1926, aged 67 years. Also of William Thorpe, their son, who died January 28th 1895, aged 4 years and 5 months. (See also Section 2, grave 35). Also the above Harriet Kilner, who died May 11th 1939, aged 73 years. 30. Unmarked grave. 31. In Loving Memory of John William Lee, who died 25th May 1959, aged 90 years. Also Annie his dearly loved wife who died 23rd April 1961, aged 85 years. Also their daughter, Lorrie, who died 5th May 1939, aged 35 years. "Re-united". 32. possibly an unmarked grave. 33. In Loving Memory of Joseph Benjamin, beloved husband of Eliza Anne Lockwood, died June 13th 1942, aged 60 years. Also the above named Eliza Anne Lockwood, died March 8th 1950, Aged 68 years. Row E 34. In Loving Memory of Edwin, son of Fred and Alice Beilby of Lower Storrs; born Jan. 20th 1906, died June 30th 1909. Also George their son, aged 6 weeks. "Short was the little stranger’s stay. They came just as our guests. Just tasted life and passed away To their Eternal Rest". Also Frank, their son; born May 7th 1912, died January 30th 1914. Also John Philip. Darling son of William Henry and Mabel Beilby, Fell asleep March 5th 1951, aged 2 years. "Suffer little children to come unto me". 35. In Affectionate Remembrance of Joseph Hedley Thickett, the beloved son of Ernest William and Mary Thickett, who departed this life September 1st 1909, Aged 4 years 11 months. "Suffer the children", Jesus said, and laid his hand upon each small head. "Forbid them not to come to me, for in my Kingdom they shall be". 36. In Loving Memory of Leah, the beloved wife of Leonard Crossley, of Penistone, died May 22nd 1910, aged 34 years. Also Harry, their son, born April 8th 1907, died April 12th 1907. 37. In Loving Memory of Naomi, beloved wife of Benjamin Bostwick, who died October 21st 1913, aged 64 years. Also Adela, daughter of the above, who died Dec. 20th 1912, aged 36 years. Unmarked grave. 41. In Loving Memory of Hannah, the beloved wife of Charles Kilner of Hoylandswaine, who died July 6th 1901, aged 69 years. Also the above named Charles Kilner who died February 26th 1903, aged 69 years. "Thy will be done". 42. Double grave - side by side. Affectionate Remembrances of Arthur, the beloved son of George and Mary Etta Chappell of Don Street, Penistone, who died January 27th 1900, aged 16 years. Also the above named George Chappell who died January 21st 1914, aged 51 years.Also their son Thomas Wilfred who died July 13th 1918, aged 27 years. Also the above Mary Etta Chappell who died January 15th 1947, aged 86 years. 43. Possibly an unmarked grave. 44. In Loving Memory of Benjamin Senior of Hoylandswaine; born February 10th 1839, died November 23rd 1919. Also Sarah Jane, widow of the above; born Feb. 10th 1855, died November 23rd 1924. Row G 45 - 48. A large space here could indicate 3 or 4 unmarked graves. 49. In Loving Memory of Winifred, daughter of Joseph and Florence Senior, who died November 23rd. 1910, aged 3 years. 50. One possible grave. 51. Almost in the hedge- In Loving Memory of John Ibbotson Senior, the dearly loved friend of Maude Helliwell, who died November 17th 1926, aged 38 years. "Till we meet in Heaven". Also George Henry Senior, brother of the above, who died November 24th 1901, aged 11 years. Row H Another large space here could have been used for a number of unmarked graves 52. In Loving Memory of Luke Naylor of Hoylandswaine, who died Feb. 24th 1881, Aged 85 years. Martha, the beloved wife of Luke, who died Dec. 25th 1878, aged 74 years. Mark, the beloved son of Luke and Martha, who died March 5th 1891, aged 67 years. Row I 53. In Loving Memory of Ellen, the beloved wife of Hudson Linsey, of Hoylandswaine, who died June 14th 1919, aged 45 years. Also the above Hudson Linsey, beloved husband of Bessie; died 1937. Bottom right-hand corner of this plot contains three small stones, all of children:- 54. C.W. 7 weeks. 54. C.W. 17 months, July 1980. 55. Ada Peaker, aged 5 months. 56.
