C 1 T 23 Here lyeth/the body of Joseph/BEAUR of Park/Mill, who died/Oct. 23rd 1740/Aged 44 years./Small upright stone near church wall. C 1 22 In/Memory of/George Henry DICKINSON who/departed this life at Cowms in/the Parish of Kirkeaton, May 7th/1859. Aged 31 years./Also Hannah wife of the above/George Henry DICKINSON, who/departed this life July 30th 1859./ged 29 years./Was interred at the Parish Church, Kirkburton./Headstone with rounded top. Geometrical design round edges. C 2 T 19 Here/Lyeth interred the body of/Ann, ye wife of Matthew EXLEY/of Letterup. She departed this/life ye 15th day of July AD 1742/in ye 46th year of her age./'Stay reader stand and shed a tear/Upon the dust that slumbreth here/And whilst ye muse your fate on me/Think on ye glass that runs for thee./Table tomb. Stylised decor. C 2 T 20 In Memory of/Elizabeth EXLEY who/departed this life 15th Sept. 1825/Aged 64 years./She lived 34 years in the/Service of Mr and Mrs/ELMHIRST of Ouslethwaite/discharged the duties of a/very important situation/with care and fidelity and/aquired the esteem and/regard of the family./This tomb was erected by/the sons and daughters of/her late Master and Mistress/a memento of departed worth./Also Benjamin, son of the above/Elizabeth EXLEY who died at/Park Mill, Clayton West. March 9th/1853 aged 66 years./Table tomb. C 3 T 18 In/Memory of/Jane wife of John WHARAM/of Skelmanthorpe. who died/June 2nd 1833 aged 55 years./Also of Betty LOCKWOOD/their daughter who died/Aug. 21st 1836. Aged 32 years./Also the aforesaid John WHARAM, who died December/19th 1848. Aged 70 years./Headstone with scalloped top. C 4 T 17 Sacred/ to the Memory of/Edward DARLEY of Clayton/ West, Who died Feb. 19th/1862. Aged 65 years./Also Ann, his wife who died Aug. 4th 1871/Aged 71 years./And is interred near this place. Also Mary Ann HINCHLIFFE/Daughter of the above/Died September 23rd 1914. Aged 76 years./Interred near this place./Headstone with scalloped top. C 4 T 16 In Memory of/Joseph HEY of Clayton West who/died March 26th 1822. Aged 39 years./Also Sarah, wife of the aforesaid/Joseph HEY, Who died May 9th 1830./aged 48 years./Also Ann, Daughter of the above/Joseph and Sarah HEY, Who died/November 1st 1851 aged 39 years./Headstone with shaped top. C 4 T 203 Here/Lyeth ye bodies of William/and Mary LAWTON son/and daughter to Jonas/LAWTON of Skelmanthorpe/Wm. dyed January 8th/1747 aged 8 days. Mary/dyed August ye 10th 1750/aged 1 year and 23 weeks./[g 2]/[17 j 4]/[7 R M h a n]/[8]/Small flat stone. the letters and numbers at the foot are barely distinguishable. The brackets round them show my interpretation which does make sense at all.
