She depart/ed this life the 15th day of May/in ye 81st year of her age,/1740./'Prepare Oh mortals for a future state/Repent in time before it is too late/Death is a minute full of Deadly Sorrow/Then love today so you may die tomorrow./Table tomb with stylised flowers and leaves. B 4 John CLAYTON of Back---/Who departed this life/the first day of/November Anno Domini/1682/Headstoneeroded and broken, standing against church wall. A local man said he thought 'Back' as it appeared to us might be Bagden Hall. I have not confirmed this. B 4 T 30 Here/Lyeth the body of Richard/JACKSON late of the High/Bridge Mill who departed/this life ye 24th of July 1718/and in the 71st year of his age./Also in Memory of Richard/son of the said Richard/JACKSON, who died February/the 13th 1765 aged 55 years./Also in Memory of Grace/his wife, who died March/the 21st 1787 aged 67 years./Also William JACKSON/son of the above Richard/and Grace JACKSON late/of Skelmanthorpe, who/died March 9th 1839 aged/75 years./Low table tomb. B 6 T 24 Here/Lyeth interred ye body/of Robt. second son of Robt./OLDHAM of Skelman/thorp who departed/this life June ye 28th/In ye 14th year of his/Age AD 1704/'One Humble meek and/patient here doth lye/who learning lov'd/feared not to die./Beloved by all he was./Gave to his parents due/respect, what for poor/neighbours he could do/In him was no neglect./Small table tomb with geometrical design round edge.
