Barnsley Family History Society is registered with the Data Protection Commisioner.

Personal data provided to the Barnsley Family History Society by members (including names, addresses, email addresses, member's interests etc) are held on a computer database and may also be held in a manual filing system. This data will be processed by the Society, and may be published in the Society Journal and on the Society Internet World Wide Web pages. This data will not be used for any other purposes other than for the legitimate purposes of the Society.

Members are requested to inform the Membership Secretary immediately of any changes to their personal details.

If you wish to obtain a copy of the data processed, a description of the purposes for which it is being processed, a description of any potential recipients of the data, or any information as to the source of the data, please contact the Secretary. The Society is entitled to charge a statutory fee for the provision of this information.
