Section 1 Large pedestal with a Portland stone figure of a woman on one bended knee, one hand across her breast, the other holding the top of an anchor with it's foot resting in front of her bended knee. A raised head of Portland stone in a pointed arch is in front of the pedestal. Leaf decorations at sides.

Reverse Outline of an Angel carrying a crown. Eroding a little. The Swift family were sculptors and builders. An elderly member of the family told the recorder that the white stone used here and at High Hoyland Churchyard was Portland stone.
